Starting from Sunday May 6 until Sunday July 1 Alta Murgia National Park, in range of the project “Agroecological Walks” and the project “Alta Murgia National Park by bike”, suggests a programme of excursion activities on foot and by bike.

“Agroecological Walks” – says the President of Park Cesare Veronico – is a further initiative that aims at guiding the visitor to the discovery of Park as a land where nature, culture, landscape, flavors and fragrances are part of an indivisibile system. A territory in which the task to guarantee the “land productivity” was assigned to farmers and ranchers, by ensuring at the same time the stability of ecological systems. It starts with agricultural farms not only for a funny excursionistic itinerary, but also to carry out ideally a concrete sustainability and valorization of Alta Murgia National Park. A tasting of local products in the farm reference is forecast at the end of both of excursion tipologies. A service of rental bike will be active for bike excursions, with an excursionistic guide in the office of Plan Workshop, in Via Valle Noè n.5, in Ruvo di Puglia, starting from the next week. The participation cost to “Agroecological Walks” is 5 euros per person, while the participation cost to bike excursions is 15 euros per person if you rent a bike of Park and 5 euros if you participate with your own bike.
